The McKinney Houses at St. Luke’s LifeWorks provide permanent housing and stability among individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Connecticut’s lower Fairfield County region. St. Luke’s openedthe first AIDS residence in Connecticut in 1989 and remains firm in the belief that we cannot prevent and treat HIV without solving the problem of homelessness.  Sizeable federal and state funding cuts will result in the elimination of a wide range of services for those affected by the disease, making RRF funds even more crucial.
